Gran Casa Universitaria is a boutique hotel with 18 years of experience, located directly across from the University of Costa Rica in San Pedro. As a retired tenure professor at the University of Costa Rica, after 35 years of academic service, and as the owner of Gran Casa Universitaria, it is my pleasure to welcome you and offer you our finest hospitality, together with my personal attention.
My residence and office are located on the hotel premises, allowing me to attend closely to each guest, and to help ensure a warm, thoughtful level of service.
Our guests choose Gran Casa Universitaria as an alternative to commercial hotels. Our clientele includes visiting academics, professionals invited through international cooperation programs, and participants in academic activities at the University of Costa Rica.
